<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Hands down, this is absolutely the worst Social D bootleg I own. The sound is horrible, the songs are mislabeled, and what is called "I Wanna Be" is actually the Offspring's cover of "I Wanna Be Sedated" (which can be found on the Ramones tribute album "We're A Happy Family"). I'm surprised they didn't throw on other non-Social D songs like "Pretty In Pink" or "Tainted Love."Originally posted by joshroush:

There are NO demo recordings on this lp - the only newer material is "Don't Take Me For Granted," and it was just lifted off other often-traded live bootlegs with mediocre sound quality. I'd like to get rid of mine, but I'd feel guilty giving away such a piece of shit. From the artwork all the way down to the actual vinyl, it's a low-grade product. You can typically find this on eBay for around $15 bucks or so - that's the normal asking price, but I've noticed that they often go unsold, probably because it's only worth a nickel, if that.
One more word of warning, since you're asking about rare vinyl - there's also a pirated/bootlegged vinyl version of "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" going around that claims to be the Japanese version with a so-called bonus track. That bonus track is the Automatic 7 version of "Tainted Love." Again, a case of someone trying to make a quick buck who obviously doesn't know their shit.
As for the others, you can sometimes find the original Prison Bound for $20, the Triple X MLM for $10-15, the single shows up on eBay for $5-15, and you'd be better off getting the "Sick Boys" version of the Hard Knocks lp.

You are to Awesome. All hail KoF!
josh, I have collected old punk and new wave vinyl now for over 20 years. one thing that i found out is that basically what an item is worth is irrelavent. What YOU think its worth and are willing to pay for it is. Sometimes i come across a piece that i gotto have but the price is too high and i buy it anyways. other times i tell the seller to go F himself. Unless you are into a lot of old elvis and beatles vinyl, one person can tell you Social D somethin or another is worth $25 and another can tell you its worth $10. Buy or trade what you want and pay or give up what your willing to part with and dont worry if its a good investment or not.
